As part of the University of Kent’s First World War Schools Project, a Continuing Professional Development for Teachers event has been organised for those wishing to find out more about teaching the First World War in the Humanities, and to find out more information about resources available to teachers for use in the classroom.
This event is being jointly run by the Gateways to the First World War research centre, and the government funded First World War Battlefield Tours programme at the Institute of Education, and will also have input from the In Flanders Field Museum in Ypres, and the Forgotten Wrecks project.
