This display will commemorate HMS Kent which served in the Battle of the Falklands in December 1914. The display will draw on the collections of papers and memorabilia of J D Allen, captain of HMS Kent, and of one of the naval officers of the ship. These collections remain in private hands. Also featured will be items from the collections of the cathedral and of the Beaney in Canterbury.
