A public roundtable on the theme of public engagement and hidden histories, particularly ‘lessons learned’ from the First World War centenary as we approach the major anniversaries of the Second World War. Confirmed panellists include: Lucy Noakes (Essex), Santanu Das (KCL), Suzanne Bardgett (IWM), Simon Young (BBC History Commissioner), Rob Attar (BBC History Magazine), Karen Brookfield (HLF), and Paul Kiem (History Teachers’ Association of Australia). The roundtable will be chaired by Helen Weinstein, Creative Director of History Works.
