This project has been a collaboration between the Universities of Leeds & Hull, the Gateways to the FWW Public Engagement Centre, and community groups including the Iranian Community of Hull, Humberside All Nations Alliance, Hull Afro Caribbean Association and Hon Lok Senior Association.

The launch event will be held in Hull on 20 October between 10:30 and 15:00, and will include hot lunch and refreshments.
At the event, the initial results of the project will be presented by participants, including a short film and banner mobile exhibition. In addition, there will be a number of presentations delivered by the academics and community organizations offering an opportunity for participants to share ideas and stories, broaden their knowledge about the area and get to know about the achievements of other groups working on similar projects across the UK.
