‘Zeppelins over London’ is a Heritage Lottery funded educational and creative media project on the impact of Zeppelin bombing of London during the First World War.
The project involved 12 young people (13-14 years old) from diverse ethnic, social and cultural backgrounds who conducted archival and heritage research, examining and exploring the subject, produced a short film and then involved and shared their experiences and heritage knowledge with the local community.
Third Sector Media worked with Westminster Academy and Mr. Pavel Charitorizhsky, in particular, who is a History teacher and the Head of Humanities at the school. He runs a weekly history club after school with a group of year 9 students. The club investigates fascinating but not well-known topics from the history and heritage of London and the Paddington area.
