‘Til the Dover Boys Come home
Fri 22nd and Sat 23rdJuly at 7.30pm in Dover Castle
Sun 24th July 2pm Cruise Terminal 1 (short version)
Using original archive and contemporary material including images and film sourced in Dover this concert party drama and film presentation will create the world of 1916. Students have been filming on location, learning original routines presented to audiences during the period and working on a story built round real events by 20 year old Dover playwright, Daniel Drysdale. Audiences are encouraged to enter into the spirit of the piece by dressing in Edwardian style.
Admission to the event is free but early booking for the castle performances is essential as only a limited number can be admitted to the site each evening.
