After being awarded a Heritage Lottery Grant the Abbey United Reformed Church would like to invite the town to discover the contribution made by the people of Romsey to the Great War.
They are looking for newspaper clippings, photographs, letters and keepsakes as well as family stories passed down through generations to help build a clear picture of what life in Romsey was really like. They also wish to reach out to local groups to help us bring these collected memories together and preserve them for future generations.
Learn more about the project and how you can get involved at this event on the 23rd October at 5pm in the Abbey United Reformed Church. Alternatively visit the Abbey United Reformed Church on the 24th October where the Church will be open until 12pm.
