The Boys on the Plaque Heritage Open Days event will be followed by an evening film screening of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, with a live score by artist collective Partial Facsimile. A masterpiece of the German Expressionist movement that was first released in 1920, the script was inspired by various experiences from the lives of writers Janowitz & Mayer, both pacifists who were left distrustful of authority after their experiences with the military during WWI.
Free popcorn and a low cost bar make this a welcoming and relaxed event for all.
