This year's Armed Forces Day Concert organised by the Canterbury branch of the Royal British Legion will focus on the Royal Navy and the Battle of Jutland.
The concert will include music provided by the Canterbury Salvation Army Band, the School of Music Saxaphone Group, choirs from the Canterbury Ladies choir and from a Junior School, and dancing provided by the Dance Ware House senior and junior dancers. It will also feature the reading of poems and letters from home by the Drama Students of Canterbury College and the ringing of the bell of HMS Canterbury that took part in the Battle of Jutland for the minute's silence. There will be a ship to shore link via Sykpe with HMS Severn out at sea.
